The dates in here are not fixed to either NS (New Style/Gregorian) or OS (Julian) since most sources do not include this detail. So to that degree the dates in this file may be vague. On the other hand I have taken extensive care in verifying dates and the many subscribers to the Today in History service email service have helped to clear away bugs.
